Next weekend will be the make or break game of the season, this will separate the men from the boy's. Sagres vs Zgoda. This team beat us fair and square last time we played them, mind you we allowed their small midfielder play with the ball and create their goals. We have to shut down their midfield this time around and that should nullify any offense that they try to create. We know that their defense is weak and their forwards aren't any better so take advantage and come out hard right from the first whistle. Remember Fernwood and how we were up 2-0 in the first half and allowed them back into the game. let's not give these guys that opportunity. forca ou Sagres Good Game on Sunday, 3-0 against a dismal Sooke team. pirata

sagres blow, nobody makes the correct decisions for the team, just themselves. Its so obvious why we lose yet nobody wants to fix it. If we're playing for fun I understand, if we're playing to win than everything we're doing makes no sense.
players need to know what position they'll play, players need to be at practice and players have to blame themselves before they look at everyone else on the team. I heard some stupid s**t after that last game putting the blame on everyone else but themselves even on players that I know worked their dick off that game they dont deserve to hear that s**t.
for any young players that play on this team I have to tell you to please go to another soccer team next year if you wish to continuously get better and better cause its not gonna happen playing for the sagres. love all you guys but you dont know what you're doing.
THATS THEJUNT

I hear your hurt Junot, and yes the s**t that went down at the end of the game was not warranted as everyone played as hard as they could, but unfortunately the outcome wasn't what we wanted. So the crap always flies after a lose, that's the Portuguese hot blood coming out. Our problem is that we all think that we are better than we really are when it comes to playing against each other, and yes no one will say it to your face that you suck or that you played for yourself. Any criticism or advice should come from the coach and no one else, but if the coach doesn't speak up then of course the players will take things into their own hands and bring the s**t down, which i know is totally wrong and out of line. This is of course a rec league, and we play it to keep in shape and yes along the way we want to win and possibly move up in divisions. As for your comment regarding young players going to another team next year, I feel that now your are disgruntled and want to disrupt the team, so your comments I consider to be damaging to the team and if you are (were) a team player you would step up and say or give positive critique for the betterment of the team instead of recommending leaving the team. As the President of the team I should be told of any problems that arise so that I and the rest of the executive can deal with the situation. Also talk to the coach, Running away doesn't fix it, it just prolongs what has to be dealt with immediately so that it doesn't occur again. THIS HAS TO STOP NOW!!!!! pirata

this has nothing to do with being negative, im the last guy to get mad at anyone for what they did on the soccer field I never expect anything out of the other players just to have fun with them. I'm saying this cause its true I have no reason to disrupt the team I love this team and have been coming since I was 15 years old, I went to more practices for years when I wasnt even on the team than the players that were. Im just helping out the young guys who are getting treated like junk and for the players who are put on the field in positions they dont even wanna play and players getting special treatment for no f**king reason.
Im for the players not the management and thats the way ive always been i gotta go to work so i'll post more later or maybe we can talk about it some time tony.
if im a "disease" on this team than I just wont come anymore i dont care

Good on you for responding, I'm just replying to the way that you said for any of the young players to go else where next year. We don't want that happening because you guys are the future of this organization. Maybe what we need is a coach who isn't Portuguese and has no ties to the community so that what he says and wants from you guys gets done and if not then you're out of there. Also you are one of the young guns on the team and by what I've seen this year you are a valuable piece of the pie. I believe that your cousin Johnny is the only one younger than you. As far as some guys having special treatment, you are going to have to speak with your coach regarding that. I want to have a meeting with all you guys in the up coming week to rectify the situation at hand and get us back on the right track ( friends, brothers in arms) and not the s**t that is going on behind the back if you know what I mean. If your able to say s**t on this website then say you piece in person in front of the rest of the team and get the respect that I know you deserve. I'm on your side, so stay focused and help figure it out. It's all about passion, and you know that we have alot of it built up inside, it's just that we use it against each other and not the other teams as we should be, true or false I leave that question up to you. Cheers pirata
